A few years ago, an aquatics safety company tested swimsuit colors to gauge their visibility in different bodies of water, like pools and open water in a lake. They found that specific bright, neon colors were the most visible in both calm and agitated waters, with variation in colors depending on where you are swimming. For that reason, you won’t be seeing much blue here.
My goal when I first introduced Safe Swim files in 2022 was (and still is) to create files that featured those bright colors, some paired with bold, contrasting prints for maximum visibility in the water. I've also included some coordinates for a lot of these files, some of which are not as high in visibility and are meant to be used as accents. My hope is that you find files that you love that you can use to make swim suits, shorts, and any other apparel and accessories that will help give you and your customers some peace of mind in the water.
